About Me
I am a research scholar in the Department of Chemistry, IIT Guwahati, I completed my under graduation at Dharmasala Mahavidyalaya, under the affiliation of Utkal University. I obtained my master's degree in chemistry from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. During my master's, I have done the MSc project on a biomimetic system of hydrogenase enzyme for proton reduction studies under the supervision of Dr. Kamlesh Kumar. In the meantime during summer vacation, I worked in IIT BHU, under Dr. Arindam Indra as a summer intern on the topic of the Zeolite imidazole framework for artificial photosynthesis. Being passionate about research in chemistry I choose to join Ph.D. in chemistry. I joined my Ph.D. in July 2020 in the inorganic and material chemistry lab of Dr. Shyam P. Biswas. I was selected for the prestigious PMRF fellowship in July 2020. At present, I am working in the field of a metal-organic framework for the application of oil-water separation as well as for the sensing of poisonous analytes from drinking water.
